Alexander graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of Holy Cross with a BA in English Literature. He also completed a teacher education program there and is a certified teacher. He is currently working towards a MFA in creative writing from Columbia. He is an adjunct professor at Columbia and taught for 4 years at a Jr/Sr high school, where he worked one-on-one with students there.
Alice received a MA in English from the City College of NY and a BA in English from Hunter College. Alice is currently an adjunct lecturer at The City College of NY and Eugenio Maria de Hostos C.C. Alice possesses certification to score university entry-level essays in the CUNY schools. Beth graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Pennsylvania with a BA in psychology. Brian graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of California, Berkley with a BA in English with High Honors and a minor in Creative Writing. A finalist for senior honors thesis of the year in 2007, he has received many awards and fellowships for his writing and is a published author. As a full-time tutor at Study Smarter in the San Francisco Bay Area for 3 years, Brian has worked with students on all sections of the PSAT and SAT as well as the SATII Literature test. His students consistently have raised their overall SAT scores by 300+ and their essay scores into the 10-12 range. Brian helped one of his students raise his overall SAT score by 690 points.
Caitlin is a NYS certified teacher in English for grades 7-12. She is also certified in grades 1-6.
